Exterior and Marine
Composite decking, pool decks, dock restoration, deck maintenance and exterior repairs.
01Overview
Overview
Anything outdoors in The Bahamas is fighting salt, sun and water from the day it goes in. Decks and docks fail from the frame up, and covering a rotted frame with new boards only hides the problem for a season. We take the structure back to what is sound, reframe what is not, and lay the new surface on something that will hold.
Projects We Handle
- Composite decking installation
- Pool deck construction and restoration
- Dock restoration and repair
- Deck reframing where the structure has failed

05Questions
Common Questions
My deck looks fine on top. Why would it need reframing?
Because decking usually fails from underneath. The boards can look acceptable while the joists and beams carrying them have gone soft. We check the frame first, and if it is sound we will tell you that too.
Is composite worth it over timber here?
In this climate it usually is. It handles sun and salt better and needs far less maintenance over its life. Timber is still the right answer on some jobs, and we will talk you through both.
Do you work on docks over water?
Yes, dock restoration is regular work for us. Access, tide and how much of the structure is still sound all affect the approach, so a site visit matters more than usual on marine work.
On cost. We do not publish fixed prices for this work. Final cost depends on project size, materials, access, location, site conditions, labour requirements and project scope.
